Work in progress. Right now this site only ships the basic set — the government's administrative data and zones (prefectures, municipalities, wards, …). On top of that, more specific open datasets are being added one by one so you can browse and combine them; land prices is the first, more are coming.
A similar project, codegeo.fr, runs on the same codebase for France. The goal is to build reusable blocks ready to be deployed to other countries.
Where this is heading:
- generate websites and apps directly from open data;
- a data-explorer tool where you can query which datasets to use and shape them however you want — basically talk to the data. The early version of this lives on /land-prices, developed just today for AI Builders Day Tokyo: Intercom × MindStudio × Scrum Ventures.
